31 Dec 2018 - Final "weekend" of racing for the 2018 Kansas Cyclo-Cross Season with the Grote Prijs Shawnee Sunday and 'Cross Off the Old Year Monday held at Herman E. Laird Park in Shawnee, KS.  Osceola Velo Club's Pat Schlager was on hand for some true cyclo-cross conditions -- mid-to-upper 30's (Fahrenheit) each day, thawing mud Sunday, total slop-fest Monday.  Pat S. had a great race Sunday, being able to ride most all of the course.  Not so much riding for Pat on Monday though.  Despite the tough conditions, Pat's 6th on Sunday and 5th on Monday bumped him up into 2nd place overall in the Series60CX Points Series in Single-Speed!  Check out some photos of Pat at Herman E. 18 Nov 2018 - Another full weekend of cyclo-cross racing for Osceola Velo Club's Pat Schlager with the Deerborn 'Cross on Saturday and the 360 Cup on Sunday.  Pat S. finished 8th in Single-Speed on Saturday in cold, cloudy, and windy conditions near Deerborn, MO.  Pat finished 17th in Single-Speed Sunday in cold, cloudy, and calm conditions at Centennial Park in Lawrence, KS.  Sunday's 360 Cup served as the Kansas State Cyclo-Cross Championships for Single-Speed.  Check out some photos of Pat in Missouri and Centennial Park.

11 Nov 2018 - A full weekend of cyclo-cross racing for Osceola Velo Club's Pat Schlager with Veteran's 'Cross on Saturday and Kansas City 'Cross on Sunday.  Pat S. finished 8th in Single-Speed in Saturday's Veteran's 'Cross which was held in cold, windy conditions at the VFW Post #846 in Overland Park, KS.  7th in Single-Speed Sunday in the hilly Kansas City 'Cross held at Wyandotte County Lake in Kansas City, KS where Pat was able to ride all the way through the shoreline sandpit 3 times out of 4.  Check out some photos of Pat at VFW Post #846 and Wyandotte County Lake.

04 Nov 2018 - Osceola Velo Club's Pat Schlager finished 11th in Single-Speed in the Boulevard Cup held at the Donderdag! Cyclo-Cross Park in Shawnee, KS.  Pat S. was able to ride the 3rd sand section every lap and rode half-way across the 2nd sandpit on his final lap.  Check out some photos of Pat on the steep, muddy hill.

27 Oct 2018 - Osceola Velo Club's Pat Schlager finished 8th in Single-Speed in the Radler 'Cross race held at Welborn Park in Kansas City, KS.  Pat S. was able to ride up all the climbs and even rode the broken section of the stone wall every lap.  (Sorry, no photos of Pat at Welborn Park.)

21 Oct 2018 - Osceola Velo Club's Pat Schlager finished in 7th place in the Zondag! 'Cross race held at the Donderdag! Cyclo-Cross Park in Shawnee, KS.  Obsticles of the day included rows of stone blocks on an uphill section, multiple times up and down "Mount Croissant" (a good-sized dirt mound), as well as a very long sandpit which even the elite riders couldn't ride.  Check out some photos of Pat S. on "Mount Croissant."

14 Oct 2018 - Traditional cyclo-cross weather continued for the Joules 'Cross weekend held at the Schwada Cyclo-Cross Field located just NW of Lawrence, KS.  Despite the chilly, overcast, and slightly wet conditions Saturday and cold, windy, and wet conditions Sunday, Osceola Velo Club's Pat Schlager avoided any flats or falls to finish 11th on Saturday and 5th on Sunday in the Single-Speed Category.  Check out some photos of Pat S. at the Joules 'Cross.

07 Oct 2018 - Osceola Velo Club's Pat Schlager finished in 11th place in the Single-Speed Category at the Castle 'Cross held just south of the Historic Jazz District in Kansas City, MO.  Heavy rains the day before and rain continuing until noon the day-of made the Single-Speed race a total mud-fest.  Pat S. suffered a heavy fall on his second lap at the Castle.  Injuries from that crash, along with mud-clogged brakes, forced Pat to complete his race mainly on foot.  (Sorry, no photos of Pat at the Castle in Kansas City.)

22 Sep 2018 - Osceola Velo Club's Pat Schlager kicked off his 2018 Kansas Cyclo-Cross Season with a 6th place finish at the Meatball 'Cross held at historic Kessler Park in Kansas City, MO.  Check out some photos of Pat S. at Kessler Park.

24 Jul 2018 - Osceola Velo Club's Pat Schlager finished 9th Overall in the 2018 Coach Pat's Tuesday Night Omnium Training Race Series held from 19 Jun-24 Jul at the Lawrence Grass Velodrome located just outside Lawrence, KS.  The 6-race Omnium consisted of the Flying Lap, Handicap Race, "500 Meter" Individual Time Trial, Points Race, 6-Lap Individual Pursuit, and Elimination Rae.  Check out a photo of Pat S. at the Omnium.

25 Mar 2018 - A somewhat forgetable day for Osceola Velo Club's Seth Williams a the 3rd and final race of the Perry Dam Race Series.  Seth W. crashed on the firs lap of the Junior Men 14-18 race and withdrew after his second lap due to his injuries.  Seth's DNF dropped him to second place in the overall for the three-race series.  Check out some photos of Seth at Lake Perry.

18 Mar 2018 - Osceola Velo Club's Seth Williams kicked off his 2018 Kansas Road Racing Season with a bang by finishing first in the Junior Men 14-18 category in the Perry Dam Race Series, Race #2 held at Lake Perry, KS in chilly and cloudy conditions.  This was Seth W.'s first bicycle race to boot.  Seth is currently in first place overall in category in this three-race pre-season series with one race to go.  Check out some photos of Seth on the finishing hill at Lake Perry.
